DESCRIPTION:Springtime in Harrington\, Washington arrives with widespread anticipation for the annual Harrington Car Show\, one of the region’s most popular events celebrating automotive culture and the nostalgia of bygone eras. \nMuch more than a car show\, the event includes activities and attractions for people of all ages. Food vendors\, entertainers\, local service clubs and area businesses work together to create a perfect day for families and neighbors to join in the fun and celebrate being together in community.\nAs part of their year-long 50th anniversary celebration\, Innovia Foundation is proud to be a supporter of this year’s Harrington Car Show\, which takes place on May 18\, 2024\, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The annual car show is hosted by The Studebaker Garage\, a family run antique car museum\, housed in an old Ford Dealership\, in Harrington. \nSet against the backdrop of Harrington’s historic main street\, the car show transforms the town with a stunning display of more than 250 vintage and collectible vehicles that will captivate visitors of all ages. DESCRIPTION:The Rosalie Murrey Memorial Foundation\, a Spokane-based non-profit dedicated to fundamentally changing  early learning opportunities for children with disabilities\, cordially invites you to an event where everyone can enjoy the historic Looff Carrousel. This free\, family-friendly occasion welcomes all visitors on May 19 from 2-6pm. Guests are encouraged to ride the Carrousel as many times as they like during the event\, with the requirement to exit and rejoin the line after each ride. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis event is open to all\, with a particular focus on extending a warm welcome to children with disabilities and their families. We’ve selected Looff Carrousel as our venue in honor of what would have been Rosalie’s sixth birthday\, as it was one of her cherished places to visit. The Rosalie Murrey Memorial Foundation is dedicated to offering enriching and inclusive early childhood learning experiences for children with disabilities. This event provides us with an opportunity to engage with the community while advancing our mission.\n\n\n\nWhat to expect at this inclusive event:  \n\n\n\n\nFree pre-registration\, allowing families to skip the line for quicker access to the Carrousel.\nDesignated quiet space for individuals seeking respite from the crowd.\nFrom 2pm-3pm\, Carrousel music will be significantly lowered\, lights will be dimmed\, and the number of riders per ride will be limited to ensure ample space.• From 3pm-4pm\, music will be lower than usual\, lights will be on\, and the number of riders per ride will continue to be restricted.\n• From 4pm-6pm the Carrousel will operate as usual\, with full-volume\, lights on\, and no rider restriction. \n• Free snacks and bottled water. \n• Coloring activity and temporary tattoo station.
