Originally from Corvallis, Oregon, Alicia moved to Spokane to attend Gonzaga University. She quickly fell in love with the area and developed an enthusiasm for making the Inland Northwest a more vibrant place to live. Alicia has continually dedicated herself to service and nonprofit work. She has volunteered at Global Neighborhood, interned at World Relief and spent time teaching English to non-native English learners at the Spokane Community College and in Valparaiso, Chile. Additionally, Alicia loves to travel and has spent two years studying abroad in both Denmark and Chile.
She started with Innovia Foundation as a Washington Trust Bank Research Fellow, compiling information on the various support services available to pediatric cancer patients and their families in the region aimed at promoting a more efficient and effective support network. Alicia graduated from Gonzaga University with a BA in Political Science and International Relations and a minor in Spanish in May 2018.
