Anonymous donors have launched a matching gift challenge for the Upper Clearwater Leadership Council Fund. The Upper Clearwater Leadership Council invites the generosity of the community to help grow this endowed fund to benefit Clearwater, Lewis and Idaho Counties for generations to come.
This matching gift challenge invites donors to pledge $100 annually to the fund for the next five years and will unlock a $2,500 matching gift from anonymous donors to grow this community endowment.
Inspiration for creating the fund
Inspired by the idea of an endowed fund that would provide flexible and sustainable funding to meet the ever-changing needs of their community, the Upper Clearwater Leadership Council (UCLC) launched this fund in May of 2021. Permanently endowed, the fund will distribute grants to nonprofit organizations serving the needs of Clearwater, Lewis and Idaho Counties for generations to come. The fund currently stands at a little over $11,000. Inspired by the idea of community-wide participation in securing a bright future for our region, Leadership Councilmember Barbara-Lee Jordan shared: “The money that residents donate helps keep the gifts local for projects in our own backyards.”
Support nonprofits making a difference where it matters
Contributions to this community endowed fund combines any individual investments with the strength of their neighbors throughout Clearwater, Lewis and Idaho Counties. Collective generosity like this provides critical funding to sustain the vital missions of nonprofits making a difference where it matters in our communities.
The UCLC invites community members to get involved in this unique matching gift opportunity and consider naming the Upper Clearwater Leadership Council Fund to their will.
