Richard “Dick” Vandevert’s legacy is one of lasting impact, remembered as a beloved family man, business partner, friend and mentor. Earlier this year, Dick’s passing marked a poignant loss for our region.
Over the years, Dick made a name for himself as a commercial developer with a commitment to equitable business practices. Unique to his properties was the art of transforming commercial land into picturesque and inviting spaces through landscaping.
In his memory, daughter Debbie Cozzetto and his wife Bonnie established a donor-advised fund at Innovia.
Paying tribute to Dick’s profound love for landscaping and beautifying the environment, the fund supports organizations, including the Inland Northwest Land Conservancy and Friends of the Little Spokane River Valley, that protect, preserve and beautify local environments.
