David Condon’s passion for Spokane, along with his belief that it can be a model city for other municipalities, ignited a successful campaign to become Spokane’s first two-term mayor since the early 1970s. Knowing that many others share his passion for community, David and his wife Kristin established the Spokane Civic Benefit Fund. The fund sponsors activities that promote community development, such as artistic, cultural and heritage events that educate citizens and foster community. Anyone who wishes to support the city in this way can donate to the fund. Distributions are recommended by a three-member review committee.
“My wife and I so appreciate Spokane and all it has to offer. We wanted to do something to give back and create an opportunity for others to do the same,” David said. “We take great pride in living in this community.”
