Creating an agency endowment was a SNAP

For nearly 50 years, Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners (SNAP) has served the Spokane region as a leading voice on poverty. As the Spokane area’s Community Action leader, SNAP is at the forefront of educating and empowering low-income residents.

SNAP established its endowed fund in 2012. This agency fund provides financial support for the private, nonprofit community action agency that began in 1966. SNAP’s mission is to provide services to low-income and highly vulnerable persons, while preserving dignity and encouraging self-sufficiency.

“Creating an endowment with Innovia is a tangible sign of SNAP’s commitment toward building a sustainable financial future,” says Executive Director Julie Honekamp. “Partnering with Innovia allows us to leverage their expertise to provide SNAP donors and investors the opportunity to create a long-term legacy.”
