A nonprofit based in Bonners Ferry, Community Coalition for Families (CCFF) provides the space for volunteer groups and local agencies to work together to advocate for the betterment of all residents in the county. In partnership with the Equinox Foundation, an Innovia grant will help the coalition uplift more than 50 local families at risk of homelessness through its Emergency Housing Program. Too often, a job loss, illness or other tragedy sparks a cascade of life stressors that lead to housing instability and homelessness. Bolstered by the grant, CCFF provides a safety net, meeting immediate financial needs while also encouraging resilience and long-term solutions for those who need it most.
