Boards 201: Strategies for Recruitment, Integration, and Culture
12:00 - 1:30 PM PST

You may have attended Powerhouse Boards either last or this year. This session builds on that content.
Are you ready to build a board ready to fully achieve your mission?
In this session, we will be focusing on how you build the board you need to achieve your mission. We will explore three questions:
- How can you recruit the right board members for where your organization is now in its life cycle (and why it matters)?
- How can you integrate new board members into your practice in a way that honors existing practice and creates space for new insights and ideas?
- How can you build a culture that supports healthy conflict, collaboration, and change?
You will leave this interactive session with practical ideas to put to work right away within your organization. You will have a chance to reflect in conversation with others facing similar opportunities and challenges. Ultimately you will feel more competent and confident in how you bring together the right people to work together on behalf of your mission.
This session is designed for board members and those who work with them.
COST: $10
