Give to Help Buffalo and Uvalde
In the wake of senseless mass murder tragedies in Buffalo, New York and Uvalde, Texas, Innovia Foundation has identified community-based funds providing direct assistance to victims and survivors as these communities grieve and heal.
The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country has established The Uvalde Strong Fund as a relief fund for victims, their families and others affected by the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School on May 24 in which 19 children and two adults were killed.
In New York, the Buffalo Together Community Response Fund was established by the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo and the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County. On May 14, 13 people were killed at a local grocery store with victims ranging in age from 20 to 86.
Innovia Foundation will continue to monitor and vet opportunities for donors to aid Buffalo and Uvalde in responding to these horrific tragedies.
