Amy’s greatest desire is to live out authenticity in relationships and utilize her unique skills and passions in support of her community. Her innate tendencies toward relationship led her to pursue a degree in Sociology at UC San Diego. After Amy relocated to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in 1996, she enriched her relational skills by pursuing an M.Ed. in Counseling and Human Services through University of Idaho, Coeur d’Alene. Amy has since applied her relational aptitudes and tendencies while counseling children and adolescents at Genesis Associates, as an advisor and consultant in print media production for Journal Graphics, and in her volunteer roles.
As soon as her oldest son entered kindergarten, Amy engaged with the educational community in multiple volunteer capacities inside and outside the classroom. She considers her roles as President of the Coeur d’Alene Education Partnership, member of the Coeur d’Alene Chamber Education Committee, and representative on the Superintendent-Parent Advisory & Resource Community Council as opportunities to promote excellence and equal opportunity for all students in the Coeur d’Alene School District.
When she’s not working, Amy can be found investing in her favorite relationships. She and her husband Jeff and their two kids are often on the lake, on the slopes, or in the mountains of the beautiful Inland Northwest.
