Washtucna’s July 4th at the Park Celebration

Join us for Washtucna’s July 4 celebration at Bassett Park, sponsored by Innovia Foundation!

For decades the Lion’s Club of Washtucna, with the support of other community groups, spearheaded a July 4th celebration in Washtucna for the local community. Due to dwindling numbers of volunteers and the COVID-19 pandemic, the time-honored tradition declined in scale. This year, Innovia Foundation is proud to sponsor and renew the annual July 4th event and the reopening of Main Street’s Sonny’s Tavern. 

The park celebration will take place July 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and consists of three main components: a youth parade, community picnic and horseshoe tournament at Sonny’s Tavern. 16 teams of two will complete in the elimination style tournament and the winners will receive the grand prize and a trophy displayed at Sonny’s!
