Innovia Foundation has awarded $1,011,665 in grants to 124 organizations in Eastern Washington and North Idaho through the Community Grant Program. In Eastern Washington, 36 of 63 (57%) grant awards were presented to organizations in Adams, Asotin, Columbia, Ferry, Garfield, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, Stevens and Whitman counties with the remainder of grant dollars going to recipients in Spokane County. As for North Idaho, 32 of 61 (52%) grant award were presented to organizations in Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Clearwater, Idaho, Latah, Lewis, Nez Perce and Shoshone counties with the remainder of funding to recipients in Kootenai County.
The grant program has now distributed $4,517,817 in the last five years in the 10 counties in both Eastern Washington and North Idaho that the foundation serves. The Community Grant Program at Innovia Foundation supports innovative programs addressing specific challenges and opportunities throughout the region to improve access to education, promote health and wellbeing, support arts and culture, create economic opportunity and enhance the quality of life.
