Innovia Foundation awards over $1.1 million to regional organization partners

Spokane, WA, June 15, 2023 – Innovia Foundation has awarded $1,187,600 in grants to 127 organizations in Eastern Washington and North Idaho through its Community Grant Program.

Guided by input from local community members, the Community Grants Program supports innovative programs addressing specific challenges and opportunities throughout the region. Grants are awarded to organizations working to improve access to education, promote health and wellbeing, support arts and culture, create economic opportunity and enhance quality of life. This year, reviewers prioritized grant requests that met the theme of bringing people together and increasing social connections and inclusivity.

Funding for the Community Grants Program is the result of donors who have established funds at Innovia for the purpose of improving community vibrancy and vitality based on local priorities.

The community grants program has now distributed $11,031,666 in the last five years in 20 counties of Eastern Washington and North Idaho served by Innovia.
