A new library is coming to life in Ferry County.
“Geographically remote, Republic needs a hub to provide cultural and academic opportunities,” says Katherine Meade, a Board member of Friends of Republic Library.
Recently, space at the Republic Library has grown tight, lacking ADA accessibility and meeting space. Through the generosity of local donors, Innovia awarded Friends of Republic Library a grant to aid in the construction of a new, expanded library.
With a community hall planned for classes, presentations and performances, the dynamic new space promises to bring the community together and expand opportunities for their low-income population.
"With financial help from organizations like Innovia, we are pursuing a building that will serve our community in a more impactful way.
