The daughter of farmers, Glenna Houle believed that on paper she would not “look good” for scholarship applications. College was never discussed in her family, and she spent all her hours doing farmwork.
As a senior at Sandpoint High School, Glenna was gifted a small, life-changing scholarship that, alongside working full-time, allowed her to pay for her own education at Gonzaga University.
Inspired by this gift of generosity, she founded the Glenna Houle Mount Scholarship Fund. Supporting girls graduating from Sandpoint High School, this fund will uplift a new generation of students like Glenna.
