Priest Lake Community Education Fund
Priest Lake Community Education Fund helps to bridge the gap between state-provided educational funding and the remaining operating costs West Bonner School District must cover to ensure students thrive.
The fund was established in 2024 in light of the district’s ongoing challenges in passing a levy that would meet funding needs. At the time, the district faced the grim possibility of closing Priest Lake Elementary School, the only K-7 school in Priest Lake. phase, focused on connection, leaders bring the table to the community, building common ground and gathering local stories.
Knowing the detrimental impact this decision would have on local families, the fund intends to help the elementary school survive, and provide long-term support for the entire district.
We believe education is vital to our community. Our children are our future and we owe them an education so they can become contributing members of our community.”
