Supporting Emergency and Long-term Wildfire Relief in North Idaho
Innovia Foundation is hosting a Wildfire Emergency Response Fund to support nonprofit organizations, businesses and community organizations working to meet the needs of those significantly impacted by wildfires in North Idaho.
With an establishing gift of $10,000 from Innovia, the fund will initially address unmet needs related to wildfires in areas of Nez Perce, Latah and Clearwater counties. Grants are currently available for local nonprofit organizations assisting individuals and families.
“When disaster strikes, Innovia is here to work alongside local residents and community-based organizations. This fund provides an opportunity for neighbors to help neighbors and provide resources that will be needed now and in the future as communities recover from these wildfires,” said Innovia Foundation CEO Shelly O’Quinn.
As in previous wildfire response efforts, Innovia works closely with community partners to identify and respond to needs that cannot be met through other sources.
