Innovia Foundation is awarding $1,089,400 in grants to 112 organizations in Eastern Washington and North Idaho through its annual Community Grants Program.

In celebration of Innovia Foundation’s 50th Anniversary and the vibrant community spirit of Expo ‘74, the Foundation is partnering with Spokane Indians Baseball on a special offer for the June 9th game when the team takes the field in their Expo ‘74 commemorative uniforms for the final time.

Looking to provide more events celebrating Hispanic culture in Othello, a grassroots group of residents joined together to form a local Hispanic Committee and take the lead on the city’s first Cinco de Mayo celebration taking place Saturday, May 4 at Lions Park.

The roots of Native American culture run deep in this region, bringing to life a rich past through language, food, music and traditions that still exist today. Honoring that heritage is a primary pillar of this summer’s Expo ’74 50th Anniversary Celebration that begins on May 4 and continues through July 8.

Springtime in Harrington, Washington arrives with widespread anticipation for the annual Harrington Car Show, one of the region’s most popular events celebrating automotive culture and the nostalgia of bygone eras.

In April, our region springs to life with community gatherings and celebrations that bring people together around causes that matter. Throughout the month, Innovia Foundation will invest in free, family-friendly events that educate and build awareness around causes important to local communities, including sparking imagination through science education, inspiring creativity in the arts and building hopeful futures for youth.

Innovia Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of the Community Heart & Soul Program throughout its 20-county service area in Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Community Heart & Soul will provide funding and program support to rural communities with a population under 30,000 to initiate a resident-driven process to engage the entire community in identifying what they love most about their community, what they want for the future and how to achieve it.

Civic and service organizations form the bedrock of our communities, uniting volunteers around local needs and opportunities. This March, Innovia Foundation is proud to partner with the Pomeroy Spinners to spotlight the vital role these organizations fulfill across our region.

For decades, historic movie houses across Eastern Washington and North Idaho have served as welcoming places where neighbors, families and friends can come together to experience art and entertainment.

During the month of February, Innovia Foundation is shining a spotlight on some of these beloved historic theaters by offering free screenings of family-friendly films.
