Innovia Foundation is currently advertising to fill the positions of North Rural Engagement Manager and South Rural Engagement Manager. The North Rural Engagement Manager will be based in Sandpoint, Idaho and the South Rural Engagement Manager will be positioned in Lewiston, Idaho.

The North Rural Engagement Manager position will serve Ferry, Pend Oreille, and Stevens counties in Eastern Washington and Bonner and Boundary counties in North Idaho. “We are grateful to the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust for this generous contribution,” said Innovia Foundation CEO Shelly O’Quinn. “The funding of these two positions will be used to build additional capacity at Innovia Foundation to better serve our rural communities.”

Dana Miller, a senior program director at the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, says Innovia Foundation has a keen perspective of the communities it serves.

“Organizations like Innovia Foundation have a front-line view of both the unique needs of their community but also the individuals and organizations who are stepping up with innovative, sustainable solutions to address those needs and help ensure that all individuals and families have the opportunity to flourish,” he said.

“We are grateful for their dedication to the diverse needs of the Pacific Northwest and we are excited to support them as they grow their team to expand their service and impact,” he said.

Grant funding for the two positions is scheduled to last three years. The M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust will provide full funding in the first year of the grant, two-thirds funding in the second year and one-third funding in the final year. Innovia Foundation will gradually build capacity to fully fund the positions by the fourth year. Funding will cover base salary, benefits and program costs.
